The Chief Imam of Asaba Community Central Mosque, Dr Adekola Yinusa has given a donation of a hundred thousand naira to a widow, Mrs Adam Rashidat Olanrewaju.
The Cleric presented the cheque to the wife of late Adams Shuaib after the Friday Jumaat service at the newly established Asaba Community Central Mosque behind MTN office in Asaba.
The Chief Imam of the mosque, Dr Adekola Yinusa while presenting the cheque of a N100,000 to the widow said it was a gesture from Dr Adekola Foundation for the Needy Persons in the society.
It would be recalled that Mrs Adams Rashidat lost her husband last month as a result of nose cancer.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of Brother Adams Shuaib and other departed faithfuls.
The widow while thanking Dr Adekola Foundation for the gesture said “the donation would go a long way to assist the family at this grief moment” .
She prayed that Allah will continue to bless the donor Foundation.
The occasion was witnessed by Islamic adherents after the Jumaat service that took place on Friday, November 3, 2023.
