… As GCTPM Commences Youth Convention Oct. 27
Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon.Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac would on Friday, October 27,2023, deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of God’s Covenant Tabernacle Prayer Ministry, (GCTPM) Youth Convention.
Agbateyiniro who upon assumption to office as Commissioner, promised to interface with youths across the state and would be speaking on the theme, “the role of Christian youth in good governance”.
Speaking with our correspondence, the Youth President, Bro Tochi Emmanuel, said the convention was geared towards moulding youths in the state and bringing them close to God.
He said the mind blowing event would not only entertain the youths but prepare them to become great leaders and disabuse their minds from social vices.
On her part the Vice President, Sis. Blessing Ezeana said it was time reposition youths in the state and prepare their mind towards becoming responsible citizens of the state.
The 3- day youth convention which will commence today, Friday, October 27, 2023 with song ministration, talent hunt, dance drama, music concert, comedies, would run through Sunday October 29, 2023 with games competition, talk show, skill acquisition, sermons amongst others.
The Convention which would feature comedians, Guest ministers and youths from Churches within and outside the state capital, would take place at the church premises in Asaba, Delta State.
Ahead of the event, a long road walk rally took place in the city of Asaba, with youths dancing and heralding activities that would take place during the convention to the public.
