De Royal Flame Academy has honoured personalities and football players in Delta State.
This was made known during the humanitarian service, talent development of youths and celebration of the fourth anniversary of the football academy in Asaba.
The National Director of Sport of the National Association of All Delta State Students Worldwide, Comrade Royal Idogun said the honour was in recognition towards sports development in the state.
The event which featured a tournament took place at Westend Mixed Secondary School.
After a no win victory in the first half of the game, Emmanuel Chile won the first and only goal few minutes after entering the field for the second half.
Chile while speaking on his inspiration, said his motivation from his zeal to ensure that a winner emerges from the tournament, after seeing the many chances the players were missing in the first half.
According to him, the many trainings he had undergo, was what earned him the victory. He prayed God for mercy and grace to go beyond the local league.
Speaking on his mentor when it comes to football, he said “I look up to Messi and Ronaldo, although I don’t play like them, but I think I like their career so far. So I would like to emulate their career. I have been trying my best. I am a black man and a Nigerian grass root player”.
He commended the organizers of the tournament for the opportunity to be part of the game and help them discover their talent.
In his words, one of the sponsors of the tournament, Evangelist Emamuzo Eugene urged the young football players to always be active in sports activities so as to achieve their dreams of becoming international football players.
While speaking on the award given to him by the organizers of the game, said it would spur him to contribute much more into the lives of the needy persons in the society.

Solomon called on well meaning Nigeria to help him in realizing his dream in football.
Highlight of the tournament, was the presentation of award of excellence to the President General of Delta Youth Coalition (DYC), Hon. Chibuzor Agunwa; awards to the founder of Omamuzo Eugene foundation, Evang. Omamuzo Eugene; the Managing Director of Five Star restaurant, Mr Mmesoma Dike- Amanze; the Chief Executive Officer of Eagles Destiny Apartment; Prof. Anthony Odita of the department of marketing and entrepreneurship in Delta State University, Abraka and certificates to the best of player of the year, Gift Ossai; highest goal scorer of the year, Chile Ikeduba; best mid fielder of the year, Steven Odeh; the highest assistant of the year, Joshua Ifechukwude; best defensive midfielder, Chiemerie Onah.
