…Hails Monarch’s Enduring Legacy Of Peace And Leadership
The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Distinguished Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori, has congratulated the Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), CFR, Orhue I, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
In a statement released by his Public Relations Officer, Joelson Wilson, Amori described the revered monarch as “a towering symbol of peace, cultural pride, and exemplary leadership whose influence continues to shape Delta State and the nation positively.”
Amori said the Orodje’s reign has been defined by uncommon dedication to unity, progress, and the preservation of the Okpe heritage, noting that the monarch’s statesmanship has strengthened both the traditional institution and community relations across the state.
“Your Majesty’s leadership has been a stabilising force, not only in Okpe Kingdom but across Delta State. You have consistently demonstrated wisdom, humility, and an unwavering commitment to peaceful coexistence, and your counsel remains invaluable to the government and people of our dear state,” Amori stated.
He commended the monarch’s support for the Oborevwori administration, stressing that the Orodje has remained a reliable partner in the quest for development, social harmony, and institutional cohesion.
“On this special day, I join the people of Okpe Kingdom and friends across Nigeria to celebrate an extraordinary royal father. Your efforts in fostering unity, strengthening cultural values, and advancing communal development will continue to inspire generations,” he added.
Amori further described the Orodje as a mentor and role model whose lifetime of service exemplifies integrity and patriotism. He prayed for continued good health, renewed strength, and divine wisdom for the monarch as he guides the traditional institution and promotes peace among the diverse peoples of Delta State.
“May the Almighty grant you many more years of impactful service as you continue to stand as a beacon of stability and progress,” Amori concluded.
