Ahead of the 2027 general ele tion, leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta North have passed a vote of confidence on the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori; and the Senator representing Delta North in the National Assembly, Sen. Ned Nwoko.
This took place during the meeting with stakeholders and members of the Party at Idumuje -Ugboko in Aniocha North Local Government Area .
The motion for a vote of confidence on them was moved by Hon.Nicholas Ossai,former member House of Representatives, Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency and seconded by APC stalwart Chief Felix Ndukwe, from Oshimili North Local Government Area.
The meeting had in attendance, the state APC Chairman, Chief Omeni Sobotie and attendees drawn from the nine local government areas of Delta Nort
They unanimously acknowledged the social impact of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda and Nwoko’s legislative excellence in the lives of the people.
Speaking, Senator Ned Nwoko harped on the need why Tinubu should be supported by Nigerians.
The Federal lawmaker who just marked two years in office, said his central motivation remained the well being of the populace, irrespective of political leaning, tribal cleavage or social class.
Senator Nwoko re-echoed his commitment to the creation of Anioma state and expressed optimism that the age-old quest would be a reality,to the delight of all.
According to Nwoko, social justice and good governance represented the core values of the Tinubu administration.
” There are high prospects of development and genuine progress under the present administration. Nigeria is on the path of economic and social prosperity ,inspite of our challenges. We must all continue to support the government,through cooperation and collaboration.
“Anioma state is possible. Majority of the people in Delta North today want Anioma.Most states across Nigeria are poised to back Anioma .We have the goodwill of the president.We have the support of the Senate and House of Representatives.
“The Senate public hearing on the bill for the creation of Anioma will hold from 4th to 5th next month,July in Uyo ,Akwa Ibom state

Various speakers at the occasion including the Delta North APC party Chairman,Chief Eluaka Adizue; former Speaker Delta state house of Assembly Rt.Hon.Victor Ochei, ex- lawmaker, Engr Doris Oboh; Hon.Nicholas Ossai,Rt.Hon.Olise Imegwu and Chief Emma Ejiofor and Hon .Moses Kamaya harped on party unity, love and oneness ahead of 2027 general elections.
