The Chief of Staff, Government House, Rt. Hon. Ovie Agas yesterday, described the promises of revamping Nigeria by the All Progressive Congress ( APC) as a strategy to lure Nigerians into another leadership with worse insecurity.

Agas made this known during a town hall meeting with the theme ‘ Movement for a New Nigeria’, organised by the Artisansc and Informal Sector in Asaba, the state capital.

He said with the deceitful tales of providing Nigerians with good economy and security by the Buhari- led administration,  it was obvious that if given a chance of leadership, would crumble the economy and peace of the  country.

Agas urged the craftsmen not to fall into their tactics, rather they should with their Permanent Voter’s Card vote Candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for a better Nigeria.

He advised them not to relent as the best was yet to come, together we can redirect our future and rescue Nigeria from the bad leadership of the opposition party.

Commending them, he said the governor was impressed by their drive towards the growth of the economy and would not take them for granted, reasons why he has always identified with them, adding that in recognition of their relevant in the state, when he  attains office as Vice President, Okowa  would do more to get the federal government to do more for Artisans in Nigeria.

Highlighting some of the achievements of the state governor, he said in the past seven years the state governor had invested in technical education, skill acquisition, construction of markets, business place for the artisans all in a bid to attain prosperity for all Deltans which was one of his mantra.

He assured them of more fulfillment of the Governor’s promise adding that about 75 percent of it have been made a reality, He admonished them to use their PVC and effect for a greater Nigeria.

In the same vein, the Senior Political Adviser to the state governor, Rt.Hon. Funkekeme Solomon  charged all artisans to be ready to rescue Nigeria from all the menace and mayhem the masses had faced as a result of been misled.

Funkekeme said the ticket of Okowa and Atiku was a solid one which Deltans should not allow go into the drain, adding that Okowa’s ticket as Vice President was an historical one which should not be swept under feet.

 Speaking, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Community Development, Dr. Darlington Ijeh said he was not surprised by the massive testimonies given by members of the Association on the gesture of the good deeds of the governor.

Ijeh charged them to likewise extend the gratitude by voting PDP all the way in the coming election.

On his part, the Special Adviser to the governor on Informal Sector and state Chairman of the Artisans,  Chief Ifeanyi Abanum said they were not going back on their promise to the State governor and Vice            Presidential candidate of PDP, adding that  the meeting was in fulfillment of their promise for solidarity with the state governor.

While commending the good deeds of the state governor, he said since the inception of the state, there had no been opportunity for them to be empowered politically, but with the administration of the state governor, Sen.Ifeanyi Okowa artisans had so many reasons to queue behind the Party that had been there for them.

Abanum said with the many benefits of the Association from the state government, ranging from political appointment, provision of land, vehicle and others still counting, members of the association would give their massive support to all PDP candidate.

Speaking, the Chairman of the Spare parts Association, Mr Boniface Ezeugo  urged all members to come out and cast their vote to deliver the PDP and the governor that had given  them a place for their businesses and many opportunities.

Others who spoke commended the love shown to them by the state governor and also called for more empowerment opportunities in their various trade unions.
