The National President of Asdev ’81 Club, Asaba, Ogbueshi Sydney Allanah, has reiterated it committment towards developing the Delta State Capital.
Allanah made this known during their annual award night, in Asaba, Delta State.
He said as part of the objectives of the social club, they have been able to impacted lives in the society and would continue to positively affect the lives of the people of Asaba and non indigenes.
He said as part of their socio responsibility the Club had honored reputable indigenes of Asaba for their hardwork, enthsiasm and dedication towards the Club.
The National Financial Secretary of the Club, Engr Pascal Attoh said the premier club with about six branches across the world is devoted to developing Asaba.
Attoh said as a Club, they would continue to mobilise resources and partner with government in ensuring that Asaba gets better and providing a leverage for Asaba people.
He charged the 20 beneficiaries of the cash gift to make good use of it in improving their lives academically.
One of the awardees, Chief Peter Ejiofor, commended the President for recognsing thier input towards the growth of the Club, adding that the honour done him, will spur him to do more for the Club.
In the same vein one of the mother of the recipient, Mrs Obi Dorathy prayed God to bless members of the Club and uphold them and their families.
Expressing gratitude, another recipient of the cash gift, Miss Emmanuella Okobi promise to make members of the Club proud someday, for finding her worthy of their gesture.
Beneficiaries of the Award were, Ogbueshi Ngozi Okocha, Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia, Ogbueshi Lawrence Okolo, Mr Sunny Eluaka, Ogbueshi Chiedozie Okonkwo, Mr Pascal Attoh, Chief Victor Ijeh, amongst others.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to reputable persons from Asaba and cash gift to indigent students.
