…As She Marks End of Year Party With Children
The wife to the Delta State governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has advised to parents especially mothers, not to distance themselves from parenting their children.
Deaconess Oborevwori gave the advise during the end of the year party for children in the state at the government house in Asaba.
She urged them to give attention to their children and not allow their tight schedules interfere with the upbringing of their children.
Her Excellency enjoined them to groom their children in the way of the Lord by doing the right things and also take care of them, as they were the gifts from God.
While speaking to the children she advised them to always follow the way of Christ and focus on their studies as education is the key to success.
In the same vein, the wife of the Deputy Governor, Ezinne Mrs Catherine Oyeme, enjoined the children and their parents to allow the joy of Christ shine on them as they celebrate Christmas.
Ezinne Catherine advised parents to inspire their children with the timeless of faith, compassion and generosity.
Speaking, the Special Assistant on Special Duties to her Excellency, Mrs Nkechi Onianwa, charged everyone to always love, irrespective of their tribes, religion, and social status.
“We are gathered to celebrate Jesus, so we should love everyone regardless of their religion, showing love to pagans can bring them to Christ, she said”.
While charging them to give their lives to Christ, she said Christmas cannot be without having Christ as He is the author and finisher of their faith.
Speaking on behalf of the guests, the wife of the Chairman of Aniocha South, Mrs Emmanuella Chukwuweike commended her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori for the good and excellent works she was doing for the good people of Delta State especially for women.
