Chairman, Media Committee for Delta 2022 National Sports Festival, Mr Charles Aniagwu has declared Team Delta as King in the Nigeria sport.
Aniagwu made this known while briefing Journalists on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the media center of the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
He said, Delta though leading in the games, yet they want to compete to stimulate them, adding that so far 25 events had been concluded and other teams are aspiring to attain second position the National Sports Festival.
He commended the cooperation from the athletes and officials, and also the media Personnel for helping to dissemination information on the spotting activities.
The Commissioner disclosed that 12,000 athletes were participating in the games and would increase before the closing ceremony.
He urged all teams to desist rushing to the Press to complain on any challenges faced, rather they should channel complains at various camps to organisers, through camp Commandant.
