The Anglican Priest of Ika Dioceses and bus captain of Delta Pilgrimage Bus one, Rev. Daniel Egun has charged Pilgrims to be more spiritually minded so as to possess their heart desire.
Egun gave the charge while speaking with our reporter at Capernaum, the city of Jesus.
He said it would bring their expectations to them, adding the spiritual controls the physical.
The Cleric revealed that the spiritual journey was an eye opener of all that was written in the Bible and a preparation of one’s sojourn on earth as they journey through to the promise Land.
According to him, it gives the Pilgrims a biblical opportunity to expose themselves to the Christian belief and thought of the Lord Jesus, whom he described as the owner of man’s life.
Egun commended the state government, ably led by Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for finding them worthy to be part of the exercise, adding that Okowa had done excellently well by approving the pilgrimage.
According to him, unlike some Pilgrims from Lagos State who personally sponsored themselves with huge sum of money, Sen. Okowa ensured that Deltans and some other states contingents had the privilege of visiting the holy land of Israel, which called for much appreciation.
