Senior Political Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Sen. Emmanuel Agwariavwodo has advised the Urhobo Democratic Assembly, (UDA), not to relent in their support towards governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Agwariavwodo gave the advise while playing host to the Urhobo Democratic Assembly, (UDA), at his office in Asaba, the state capital.
He said, as a leader chosen by God to rule the state, their cooperation would him help him deliver on his MORE agenda to all Deltans.
He called on UDA to take the issue of unity in the Delta Central region seriously, as that was the only way development can strive.
He urged them to be involved in ensuring that there was peace in the Urhobo land, specifically the uvwie, Warri environs.
The Senior POLAD admonished them to promote peace so as to help the already approved project of the state government in the environs to come to fruition without any interruption of the contractors job.
Earlier the Chairman of the group, Chief Paul Abu said they were ready to serve the state and support the agenda of the state governor.
Abu said, that as a group that has worked for the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) during the election period, they desire that poltical position in government be given to members of the group.
