…As Delta North Stakeholders Set To Meet in Idumuje Ugboko
Chief Sen Rich Kay Enuenwosu of Ned Media Directorate has dismissed the notion on the misconception on Senator Ned Nwoko’s residence in Idumuje Ugboko as venue for the Delta North APC meeting,
He said a recent publication has sparked controversy over an upcoming Delta North APC meeting scheduled to hold at Senator Ned Nwoko’s residence in Idumuje Ugboko on June 14, 2025.
The meeting’s purpose and hosting arrangement have been misrepresented, prompting clarification.
According to him, Delta North APC has been holding bi-monthly meetings across the three federal constituencies since January. The meetings are rotated among the constituencies, and it is now Aniocha/Oshimili’s turn to host.
Enuenwosu said the Senator representing Delta North, Ned Nwoko was given the privilege to host the meeting at his residence in Idumuje Ugboko on
He noted that the meeting was conveyed by the Senatorial Chairman, Chief Adizue Eluaka, who has the constitutional authority to do so, adding that Senator Prince Ned Nwoko is only providing a venue to host the meeting.
Contrary to speculation, Senator Nwoko did not summon the meeting, and there is no agenda for a faceoff with Deputy Governor Sir Monday John Onyeme. The meeting’s purpose is to discuss party matters and strengthen cohesion within Delta North APC.
“the hosting arrangement is based on a rotation among the three federal constituencies. Other nationalities in Delta North have hosted the meeting in the past, and it is now Senator Nwoko’s turn as the representative of Aniocha/Oshimili”.
“The Delta North APC meeting at Senator Nwoko’s residence is a routine gathering aimed at promoting party unity and discussing important issues. The meeting’s scheduling is based on a rotational hosting arrangement, and Senator Nwoko’s hosting duties are in line with this arrangement”.
