The Chairman of Non Indigene Association in Delta State, Sir Bernard Agazuma has ascribed the invitation of the immediate past governor of the state, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) as plots by political detractors of the state

Agazuma made this known while speaking with Journalist shortly after the visit to the governor at his residence in Asaba.

He said the petition against Okowa on embezzling 1.3 trillion naira was false allegation meant to disrupt the existing peace and unity in the state.

The non Indigene Chairman said it was unthinkable for a man who had passionately brought development to all sectors of the state to have made away with such huge amount.

While passing a vote of confidence of Okowa, he said members of the association will continually support the government of the day and ensure they help drive the MORE agenda to all part of the state.

He said members of the association who cut across the 25 Local Government Area of the state were hopeful of political appointments from the governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as they had play pivotal role in the emergence of the governor.
