As part of activities to mark the Yuletide, the Director General of Warri, Uvwie and Environs Special Area Devt Agency, WUEDA, Hon. Prince Godwin Ejinyere hosted his PDP women group known as Godwin Eguriase Ejinyere Socio-political and Prayer Group at his Orerokpe Country Home this week.

The group made up of PDP women from diverse ethnic groups resident in Orerokpe, was led on the annual visit by Mrs. Omasan Omabitieyin as their own way of showing appreciation for what Prince Ejinyere had done for them.

The socio-political and prayer group which holds its meeting every Friday, pledged their support for Hon. Ejinyere’s political movement for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s second tenure, following the good works of the Governor since he assumed office.

The women prayed for Okakuro Godwin Ejinyere, who is also the Duke of Orerokpe Dukedom, to succeed in all his endeavors, especially as the DG of WUEDA. They also promised to work towards ensuring the victory of the PDP in the 2027 general elections.

Responding, Prince Ejinyere charged the women to be good ambassadors of the group by being virtuous wives and mothers to their husbands and children respectively.

He urged them to help propagate the political ideology which he represents as active members of the PDP. He charged them to win converts for the PDP for their future good; asking them to “focus on real politicking as against gossiping, as the task ahead is enormous,” adding that “the way forward is forward.”

The Ejinyere all-PDP women group dinned and wined together with Hon. Ejinyere and his family, as one political family, after which he gave them gift items including

rice, vegetable oil, salt and cash amounts. Last year, Hon. Prince Ejinyere distributed wrappers to each member of the women group.
