Following the move by the Senate not to confirm former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai and two other nominees, Stella Okotete from Delta State and Sani A Danladi from Taraba State for ministerial appointment, the El-Rufai has withdrawn his interest to serve as minister under President Bola Tinubu.
In replacement, he recommended a commissioner in three ministries – Local Government, Education and Environment in the state, Jafaru Ibrahim Sani, whom he said would be very useful and resourceful in the government.
He however assured the President of his support towards national development.
