The Senior Political Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Sen Emmanuel Aguariavwodo has assured Team Aluya for Sheriff of the fulfillment of meaning development in the state.
Aguariavwodo gave the assurance while playing host to the group at his office in Asaba, the state capital.
He said in line with the agenda of the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, more development would take place in the state.
While commending them for their doggedness and support towards the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) he said the governor would deliver on his campaign promise of delivering the dividend of democracy to all Deltans.
The leader of the group, Hon. Henry Aluya said they played a pivotal role in the successful election of RT. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of state.
While highlighting thier activities prior the last election, he said in conveying thier unwavering commitment to the realization of the M.O.R E. Agenda of the State Government under the able and capable leadership of our amiable Governor RT. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, they stood resolute, unwavering, and united.
He added that they worked tireless, devoting their time, energy and resources to ensure that the dreams and aspirations of Deltans found a worthy champion in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, by organizing rallies, engaging in grassroot mobilization and acting as a bridge between the government and the people.
Aluya while expressing their commitment to the realization of the MORE agenda, said they were valuable assets to the Oborevwori’s administration.
He requested that opportunity to serve in various political appointments within the government be given to them to enable them make significant contributions to the implementation of the lofty goals set forth in the M.O.R.E. Agenda.
