…Asks Them To Arrest Him Now To Face Justice
The Niger Delta Transparency Watch Group (NDTWG), on Thursday called on security operatives to go after one Mr Jude Gbaboyor for Cyberstalking and Bullying of the Presidential Amnesty boss, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo)and the Gbaramatu kingdom.
Specifically, NDTWG, in a petition dated Thursday, December 12, 2024, to the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Department of State Security (DSS), implored security agents to fish out Mr Jude Gbaboyor for causing the Presidential Amnesty boss, Dr Dennis Otuaro, Tompolo and the entire Gbaramatu Kingdom Psychological trauma as a result of Cyberstalking and Bullying.
In the petition signed by Comrade Simon Ogbe for and on behalf of NDTWG, warned that enough was enough ofi the crime of Mr Jude Gbaboyor against prominent individuals from the oil-rich Gbaramatu Kingdom and time to apprehend him to face justice.
The Group said that the issue must be addressed promptly to halt the psychological damage of his offence against the aforementioned individuals.
According to the petition; “We, the Niger Delta Transparency Watch Group (NDTWG), write to bring to your attention the ongoing cyberstalking and bullying of Dr. Dennis Otuaro, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo and the Gbaramatu kingdom by Mr. Jude Gbaboyor. As an organization operating in the Niger Delta region, we are deeply concerned about the psychological damage this evil propaganda can cause to society and Nigerians. We believe it is essential to address this issue promptly.
Describing Cyberstalking as a serious offence that can have severe consequences on the mental and emotional well-being of the victims, the group added that It is often accompanied by real-time or offline stalking and can be motivated by a desire to control, intimidate, or influence the victim.
NDTWG said that In light of the above; “We urge you to take immediate action to arrest Mr. Jude Gbaboyor and put an end to this cyberbullying. We also request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and ensure that justice is served”.

We, the Niger Delta Transparency Watch Group (NDTWG), write to bring to your attention the ongoing cyberstalking and bullying of Dr. Dennis Otuaro, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, and the Gbaramatu kingdom by Mr. Jude Gbaboyor.
As an organization operating in the Niger Delta region, we are deeply concerned about the psychological damage this evil propaganda can cause to society and Nigerians. We believe it is essential to address this issue promptly.
According to the Nigerian Cybercrime Act, specifically Section 24(2), it is a crime to intentionally transmit a communication that threatens, bullies, or harasses another person. The penalty for this offense is up to 10 years in prison and a minimum fine of N25,000,000.
Furthermore, Section 58 of the Cybercrimes Act defines cyberstalking as a course of conduct that causes a reasonable person to feel fear.
Cyberstalking is a serious offense that can have severe consequences on the mental and emotional well-being of the victims. It is often accompanied by real-time or offline stalking and can be motivated by a desire to control, intimidate, or influence the victim.
The impacts of cyberbullying and cyberstalking can be severe and far-reaching, including:
Psychological Impact:
– Low self-esteem
– Anxiety
– Depression
– Suicidal ideation or behavior
– Negative emotions such as fear, distress, concern, or helplessness
Physical Impact:
– Headaches
– Stomachaches
– Eating disorders
– Other physical health problems
Sleep Issues:
– Difficulty in sleeping
Behavior Changes:
– Changes in behavior as a result of cyberbullying or cyberstalking
Whereas, according to UN human rights laws, every individual has the inherent right to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. This includes the right to be safe and free from violence, harassment, and bullying.
A life free from violence and cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment is a fundamental human right. Bullying and harassment can lead to violations of numerous human rights, including:
1. Right to Health : Bullying can negatively impact physical and mental health, causing harm through physical injuries, stress-related illnesses, depression, and other health issues.
2. Right to Work and Fair Working Conditions: Bullying can result in higher absenteeism, poor performance, and an unsafe working environment.
3. Right to Freedom of Expression: Bullying can compromise an individual’s freedom to express their feelings or opinions, as they may no longer feel safe doing so.
In light of the above, we urge you to take immediate action to arrest Mr. Jude Gbaboyor and put an end to this cyberbullying. We also request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and ensure that justice is served.
