Chairman, Delta State Satellite Dealers and Installers Association and Assistant Financial Secretary, of Artisans Association in the state, Comrade Austin Onori has disassociated himself from Association of skilled Artisan Delta State, (ASAD).

Mr Onori made this known in in a press statement issued to our reporter in Asaba, the state capital.

Mr Onori said he ceases to be the state Chairman of ASAD, as there cannot be any two Artisan body in the state, adding that the only umbrella body of craft men and women in the state, is the Artisans Association led by Chief Ifeanyi Abanum, adding that any publication referring him as Chairman of the Association should be disregarded.

Reacting to the earlier publication on him endorsing the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, he claimed the Association of Skilled Artisans, Delta State did not endorse Osanebi, and that he was not the one who did the publication of October 9, 2022, hence the general public should disregard it, as it was done in error and no Artisan Association in the state endorsed Osanebi and the Governorship candidate of the Party, Hon. Ovie Omo-Agege

According to him, there was no association known as Association of Skilled Artisans Delta State in the state, As Artisans in the state has agreed to work for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
