Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, has assured Nigerians of protection of public money, if elected President in the coming election.

Atiku gave the assurance during his consultation meeting with delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

While  lamenting over the poor state of education in the country, he said it was unfortunate that the money meant to stabilise the sector was been stolen.

He promised to ensure that the educational system is given much attention if given the opportunity to rule the country, before considering restructuring the country.
