Delta North Senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has assured Youths from his constituency of building an economy that would enable hardworking Nigerian youths to achieve their dreams of becoming generally self-reliant.

Nwoko gave the assurance when he played host to youths across the nine Local Government Areas of the Senatorial district at his country home, in Idumuje Ugboko.

He said with his present at the red chamber, he would push a bill that would not only benefit Anioma youths, but all Nigerian youths at large, irrespective of tribe and religion, that would pull millions of Nigerian youths out of abject poverty.

Nwoko said, that he with the support of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa,   would work towards achieving an environment that is conducive for the youths to excel in their chosen vocations

According to him the dilapidated system of governance in the country has continued to dwindle the efforts of the youths whom he described to be very hard working and creative. Adding that it was unfortunate that nothing has been done by the leadership of the country to pull them from the threshold of abject poverty.

The Senatorial candidate said for him to have easy flow in creating and signing the bill into law, he would need the good backing of the Presidency and that can only be assured when he has same party members at the Presidency and at the State level.

While responding to requests and questions from the youths, he  promised of tackle the issue of bad roads and poorly constructed waterways, peculiar to the people of Oko community in Oshimili South LGA, Aboh in Ndokwa East LGA and other flood prone communities in the senatorial district.

On his part, the Director General of Ned Campaign Organisation, Hon Pascal Adigwe, it was time for the People of Anioma to witness a Senator different from what they used tp have in the past.

Adigwe said it was an end of a Senator who would stand as a round peg and the dawn of a representative in the National Assembly who would turn things around for good for his people.

The event had member representing, Aniocha North constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi; Director Contact and Mobilzation of the campaign Council, Dr Mike Nwoko; Media Director, Norbert Chiazor; former Executive Chairman, Aniocha North LGA, Hon. Chucks Oseme, amongst others in attendance.

Highlight of the Youth Assembly was an interactive session with the senatorial candidate as the youth had the privilege of presenting issues of concerns in their various communities.
