Prophet Fufeyin Blasts Critics, Says He Never Encouraged Fraudsters Or Other Criminals In Any Of His Sermons

…Urges those speaking under the CAN umbrella to act as men of God

The founder and General Overseer of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministries International, Effurun near Warri, Delta State, Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has blasted critics in recent comments on his sermon, saying he never encouraged fraudsters or any criminals in his preachings.

Prophet Fufeyin, while reacting to the misleading information being propagated by a wicked and malicious blogger who manipulated and circulated his sermon on social media, notes that the said message was preached in January 2022 and not as seen on social media.

According to Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, also known as Papa J, to set the record straight, the message they are referring to was delivered on January 30, 2022, titled “First Fruits,” where he encouraged believers wherever they are to save their first fruits as it is very important, and that goes with sacrifice, citing Hannah in the Bible who was looking for something very important, so her first fruit was given to God, and God added more children to her life as a result of the first fruits.

The Man of God also mentioned Esau and Jacob, narrating how Esau didn’t take the issue of first fruits seriously despite being the senior, and his younger brother Jacob understood first fruits and took advantage of it and was blessed by their father Isaac. He added that first fruits wipe away sins from believers who give from their heart and do not dwell back into their old ways, even as Jesus Christ came and died for us as a result of first fruits so that mankind can be saved.

The Billionaire Prophet Fufeyin cautioned those speaking under the umbrella of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to desist from being quick to speak and to act as men of God by going back to listen and get the true understanding of the message he delivered since January 30, 2022.

He urged the National Director of National Issues and Social Welfare of CAN, Abimbola Ayuba, and the Lagos State Chapter Chairman of CAN, Bishop Adegbite, and others who have no deep understanding of issues to always be more introspective in their expression and to exhibit congruous respect to fellow clergy in the vineyard of God.

Prophet Fufeyin also urged the general public to disregard the manipulated content being circulated around social media, calling on the public to always visit the various social media platforms of the church to get authentic information as all messages are online and open for all to see.

FLOODING: Niger Delta activist Calls For Judicious Use of Ecological Funds

…Blames Governors For Persistent Flřoods

Renowned Niger-Delta born environmental and development advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, has re-emphasized the need for the state government to judiciously apply the ecological funds to address and tackle the perennial flooding and erosion in the region.

According to the environmental advocate, while the federal government has spent over N600 billion to various States in the country for ecological funding and erosion control, he lamented that though the Niger Delta governors received a larger chunk of the funds, no significant impact has been made over the last 10 years.

“We commend the federal government for the support towards reducing ecological impact in the various flood prone states with erosion issues.

“For the Niger Delta States, there has been no improvement in the past 10 years. Despite the huge amount received, the Niger Delta States still experience perennial flooding, loss of lives, destruction of livelihood, and shortage of food as well as increase in unemployment due to washing away of farmland and crops,” he lamented.

The development advocate took a swipe at the Niger Delta governors for turning the ecological fund into a looting jamboree through the setting up of what he described as “political Flood Management Committee” that are used to siphon away funds meant to address the perennial flood issue.

“It is imperative to State that failure of government at all levels is one of the greatest reason for the occurrence of the continuous flooding, loss of lives and destruction of properties in the Niger Delta States. Despite the huge investment of ecological funds in the region, the funds are diverted and swallowed up by political elites or gladiators of the region

“Political overbearing coupled with corruption have made the Niger Delta governors not to properly put in place measures to tackle and address this critical issues.

“Rather, in order to cover their failure and mismanagement of the funds, they set up a political Flood Management Committee in some state to oversee the impact of the flood with the means to siphon millions of naira at the erection of temporal IDP Camps without regard for modern facilities, portable water, sanitation and hygienic environmental measures. There is no proper drainage system, natural waterways were blocked by building houses on water courses and deforestation by community members,” he added.

Mulade therefore called on the Niger Delta States to instead establish an agency that will tasked with oversight functions on the issue of perennial flooding in the region.

“The Niger Delta States need to create agencies saddled with specific responsibility to manage the funds, and respond to the construction of storm water dam systems, open existing drainage systems, and natural waterways,” he proffered.

Benue Killing: Tinubu’s Visit Disappointing Says Adebayo

The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has described  President Bola Tinubu’s visit to Benue State as trivialised and reduced to politics.

Insisting that Nigerians must be serious with the way they tackle important issues, Adebayo condemned Tinubu’s Benue town hall meeting during the visit as sickening.

Writing on his official X handle, he said: “Our entire governmental doctrine and leadership mentality in Nigeria needs a thorough revamp and our people desperately need mental liberation. How could the emphasis be on the 2027 election and little on the sadistic massacre?”

Adebayo took exception to President Tinubu’s emphasis on his sacrifice to visit Benue instead of addressing the leadership lapses that led to such wanton destruction of innocent lives.

He said: “The bulk of the speech is on the sacrifice @officialABAT had to make to promptly respond to the killing, instead of critical questions about failure of leadership and breach of the constitutional duty to secure the citizens.

“No observer would believe that the people of this great state have just suffered a dastardly and gruesome massacre merely a few days ago”, he said.

The SDP leader also condemned the traditional rulers in the affected area for their insensitivity to the plight of their subjects.

He noted that rather than grieve over the unfortunate incident; the traditional rulers were busy endorsing Tinubu for a second term in 2027.

“That the traditional rulers felt that they had to pledge their ‘massive support’ for @officialABAT in the 2027 election on this sombre occasion is both pathetic and undignified. I could not believe my eyes and ears.

“The political elite’s deterioration seems irredeemable. A new direction is inevitable; May God help Nigeria. We need to bid farewell to poverty and insecurity in Nigeria,” he stated.
