The Leader of the Legislative Arm of Oshimili South, Hon. Michael Okonji, has emerged as Secretary of the Delta State Legislative Leaders Forum.
The forum, representing the 25 local government councils in the state, saw the election of Hon. Ekpemupolo Idukedoumene Samuel, Leader of Warri South West, as the State Coordinator in a meeting facilitated by ALGON’s Delta State Chapter Chairman, Hon. (Chief) Isaiah Onoriode Esiovwa.
With 19 legislative leaders in attendance, the forum also elected other key officials, including Hon. Olokor Friday Abizire as Public Relations Officer and Hon. Emmanuel Emojeya as Treasurer.
In response, Ekpemupolo expressed his commitment to strengthening the grassroots legislature and promoting development across Delta State, aligning with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda.
