The Sector Commander of the Federal Roads Safety Corps, (FRSC), Delta Command, CC Fredrick Ogidan has admonished passengers to be wary of how they are driven during the festive period.
Ogidan gave the advice during the Ember months awareness campaign to motor parks in Asaba.
He said in order for their lives not to be cut short by careless drivers, they should always speak up whenever they come in contact with vehicles that have issues.
According to the sector Commander, more passengers are killed in road accident than drivers, hence the need for them to avoid boarding faulty vehicles.
He said ignorance of the advise could lead to their early grave, adding that as passengers who want to return from their journey alive, they should take caution.
He urged the motorists to apply the driving rules so as to save the lives of their passengers.
