The Senator representing Delta North in the national Assembly, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has expressed displeasure over the level of insecurity in the country.

Nwoko  gave the expression while addressing youths from his senatorial constituency at his country home in Idumuje- Ugboko in Aniocha North Local government Area of Delta State.

He said the delay in fighting insecurity in the country was what prompted his presentation of the bill proposing that Nigeria carry fire arms, adding that it would help them stand any insecurity they were faced with.

Speaking on the benefit of the bill, Nwoko said the it was not strange to Nigerians , as many lives have been lose due to their not been equipped with arms to protect themselves.

While calling for their support on the bill, the Senator said when the bill is passed into law the masses with the recommendation and approval from their traditional rulers would have access to fire arms for their own security.

While thanking the youths for their active participation and support for his electoral bid which led to his victory, Nwoko assured them of proposing more bill in the 10th assembly for the good of his people.

Some of the youths who spoke during the interactive meeting commended the Senator for highly representing them in his short while in office.

highlight of the event was the passing of a youths as a result of his good deeds and love towards his people.
