Delta North Party Chairman, Elder Moses Iduh, has advised any person with intention of obtaining the Chairmanship position in the next local government election to desist from such, as there is no vacancy for that position
Elder Moses Iduh, gave the advise during the empowerment of 250 beneficiaries and disbursement of 220 bags of rice to the people of Oshimili South by Party leaders in Asaba, Delta State.
Iduh said the laudable projects of the Chairman has knocked off any intending aspirant for that position, hence there there would be no need for them picking up the form, as Ezenyili has not only made Oshimili South proud, but the whole of Delta North.
While commending the acheivements of Hon Kelvin Ezenyili, he said, “you are making the work of the Party easy for us, if other council Chairman emulate you the Party will win the whole 25 LGs in the coming election.
The Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Johnson Erijo, assured the people of the local government of more developmental strides.
Expressing delight in the gesture of Hon Ezenyili, commended him for his contributions towards human capital development and infrastructural development in the local government.
In the same vein, the Party Chairman in Oshimili South, Hon Dada Okonji, said he was impressed by the love of the Chairman towards his people, adding that his culture of bringing the people of the LG every yuletide season for feasting is a commendable gesture.
Also speaking the Special Adviser to the Governor on peace building and conflict resolution, Hon. Edwin Uzor, endorsed the Chairman for a second term in office.
Earlier, Hon Ezenyili said the gesture was to ameliorate the economical effect on the people of Oshimili South, adding that it would help meet their family needs and boost their businesses.
He said he would stop at nothing in ensuring that he serve his people diligently and put a smile on their faces despite the economy situation of the country.
