Chairman, Delta State Non Indigene Association, Sir Bennard Agazuma has commended the effort of the state government in ensuring that the National Sports Festival hosted in the state was a success.
Agazuma gave the commendation while speaking with our reporter at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba the state capital.
He said with the facilities available for athletes to compete, the state governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa had proven to be a man of his words.
He added that governor Okowa had earlier assured Nigerians of hosting the sports event in the state and truly to his words, turned out a reality.
The Chairman commended the governor for giving non Indigenes on the state an opportunity to participate in government activities, adding that, it was the reason for the massive presence of his members at the Sports Festival ceremony.
