The Traditional Ruler of Issele-Uku Kingdom, HRM Agbogidi Obi Nduka JP (MNSE) has blessed the newly inaugurated Secretary of the Local Education Authority (LEA) for Aniocha North Local Government Area, Hon. Nkem Ogbechie, pledging to support her to succeed in any guise deemed necessary by her.

Obi Nduka received the LEA team on courtesy visit at the Issele-Uku Royal Palace, Friday 30th August, 2024, who came to familiarize with the traditional seat of authority.

He further advised them to brace up to the current realities in the education sector, stressing that they have a daunting task to change the narrative in the education system of Aniocha North Local Government Area.

According to him, “I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as LEA Secretary. I am pleased that a woman and mother had been appointed to head this critical segment of the education sector.

“Please, do your best to leave a lasting legacy behind. We need a lot of things to change in the education of our children, and I want to believe that as a politician and a mother, you already know what to do.

“The discipline, care and knowledge impartation in our children is of paramount concern. Whatever we must do as a community to aid your success, we must do if you let us know”, Obi Nduka affirmed.

Earlier, the LEA Secretary, Hon. Nkem Ogbechie had addressed the Royal Majesty on whose domain is the Local Government headquarters, soliciting his support and that of the community towards a new regime of impactful education in the Local Government Area.

The highpoint of the visit was the prayer offered for the Secretary and her two Board members – Mr. Chukwudi Egwuenu and Mrs. Nnauche Christiana by the Ogbelani of Issele-Uku Kingdom, Diokpa Isimchei Okonkwo.
