Delta State Governor, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has commissioned the Ogwa Ukwu Ahaba built by the Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Council, Hon. Obi Kelvin Ezenyili,

The governor who was represented by his deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme said his administration was ready to consolidate and improve on the achievements and legacy of the previous administration in transforming Asaba to the status of a state capital.

He commended the Immediate past governor of the state, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for the face lift given to the state capital.

While he assured the people of Asaba  that the state capital would continue to receive priority attention, adding that all ongoing projects in the city and environs would be completed while new ones would also be initiated.

Describing the Council Boss as a dynamic and hardworking man, the Governor also commended him, his Councilors and management staff of the Council for the completion of the ultra modern project

Oborevwori however stressed on the need for the Local Government Council to take proactive measure on environmental sanitation and ensures that waste were properly disposed.

The Chairman the project was born out of the need to meet the infrastructural developmental needs of the people.
