Senior Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo has advised defectors from the All Progressive Congress, (APC) to keep faith with the People’s  Democratic Party,(PDP).

Aguariavwodo gave the advise while receiving representatives of the PDP Re-enforcement Group at his office in Asaba, the state capital.

He said there was so much to gain from being a member of the Party, adding that the administration  of Rt. Hon. Sheriff  Oborevwori had so much good will for all Deltans irrespective of their political affiliation.

He assured them of more appointments and empowerment of Deltans, adding that the MORE agenda of the state governor which is an all encompassing one with the interest of the masses at heart.

The Senior POLAD said massive impact of developmental projects would be carried out in all local governments of the state.

Earlier, the leader of the group, Chief Hon. Imoh Ighomena David JP. congratulated the Sen. POLAD, on his appointment and commended his achievements.

He said the group which comprises of one time members of the opposition party worked effectively for the governorship candidate  of PDP, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and are happy that they made the right decision  of defecting to PDP during the last election.

He requested that political position be given to members in appreciation for their loyalty to the Party.

In another development, the Senior Political Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Sen Emmanuel Aguariavwodo admonished members of the Support Front, (SSF)  to be  more politically active at the grassroots so as be abreast of government activities.

Aguariavwodo gave the advise while receiving the representatives of the  Support Front, (SSF) at his office at Asaba, the state capital.

He said their impact at the grass root would foster their inclusiveness in government.

While appreciating their strength and the support given to the Party during the election, he urged them to always promote the visions of the state governor to all Deltans.

The state Chairman of the group, Engr. Wilpauline Eyaghworere, congratulated the Senior Political Adviser on appointment and commended his achievements in positively impacting on the state.

Eyaghworere, highlighted some of their performance during the last election, adding that they were faced with so many challenges from the opposition group, but stood firmly to ensure the Party was victorious.

The Chairman appealed that they be rewarded with political positions and empowerment be given to the group.
