The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Aniocha South, Sir Peter Okwe amidst pump and pageantry laid to rest, his elder sister, Late Mrs. Victoria Chukwumaliobim Uzogo in Ubulu uku.

Speaking at the funeral ceremony, Okwe extolled Mrs. Uzogo, describing her as an epitome of love who would stop at noting to ensure that everyone around her experiences the God kind of love. “l love you sister but God loves you the most. It is saddening that the world has lost such a bright light but I am consoled by the fact that you’re in a better place” he said.

The Party boss in a vote of thanks, acknowledged the endless love, care and concerns made by the dignitaries who graced the occasion. He thanked them for all the supports before and during the funeral arrangements.

Earlier, the Head Pastor of New Jerusalem Church, Ubulu-Uku, Pastor Andrew Osemeka reiterated the fact that nobody lives in the world permanently adding that the world is like a market place and that when one finish trading, such a one goes home.

He urged Christians to remain born again and resolute in their faith through upright living and perseverance as this will help them meander through the world we live in and transition to a better place like Mrs. Uzogo have.

The ceremony had in attendance, the creme-de-la-cremes in Aniocha South and beyond including the immediate past Aniocha South PDP Chairman and SSA to the Governor of Delta State on Political Matters, Prince Mike Okwufulueze, former Commissioner of Arts and Culture, Engr. Lawrence Ejiofor, Ward 4 PDP Chairman, Mr. Friday Isika, PDP Financial Secretary, Mr. Okafor Samuel; reputable members of Ogor Di Na Nwanee Social Club and a host of others.
