The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Olorogun Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Utuama family of Ughelli South over the passing to glory of the former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Professor Amos Agbe Utuama (SAN), who died in Warri after a protracted illness.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Efe Ekete, Olorogun Jaro Egbo commiserated with the Utuama family of Otu – jeremi, the people of Ughelli South Local Government Area, the Urhobo nation and Deltans at large, describing the deceased as a renowned law teacher, and an Elder state man”.

“Prof Amos Utuama, was an exceptional leader who served as Delta State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General from 1999 to 2007 and later as Deputy Governor from 2007 to 2015″, He was a world-class academic scholar whose teachings and research contributed greatly to the Nigerian legal profession and jurisprudence.” The Chairman stated”.

Professor Amos Utuama was a distinguished public servant and refined politician who served Delta State with dedication and commitment. His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations. Egbo added.

On behalf of my immediate family and the good people of Ughelli North LGA, i commiserate with the family of Utuama, the good people of Ughelli South, the Urhobo Nation and Deltans at large, over the demise of a classic gentleman, a scholar, and astute politician, Professor Amos Agbe Utuama, (SAN), who passed away after a prolonged illness.

I pray that God Almighty accepts his soul in his bosoms and grants families and friends the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Amen!
