The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, and Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, (GCON), on their one-year anniversary in office.
Bishop Adegbite commended the administration for demonstrating capacity, determination, and foresightedness in driving the affairs of Nigeria. He acknowledged the challenges faced in the first year, including inheriting a struggling economy and tackling the Boko Haram insurgency.
However, he praised the administration’s achievements, such as the Students Loan Scheme, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Super Highway, and massive infrastructural development across the country.
The NCPC boss also applauded the appointment of credible technocrats to strategic positions in government agencies, promoting inter-faith harmony, and supporting religious activities, including Hajj and Christian Pilgrimage.
Bishop Adegbite encouraged Nigerians to unite and support the administration, praying for those in authority as commanded by God. He expressed optimism that President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima will continue to lead Nigeria to greater heights, inspired by their unwavering faith in the nation.
He concluded by praying for the good health and well-being of the President, Vice President, and First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to enable them to fulfill their campaign promises.
