The Legislative arm of Oshimili South has screened and confirmed five nominees for appointment as supervisors of the Local government Council.
Those screened and confirmed were the immediate past Supervisor of the council, Kpolokwu Emeka Stanley; The Coordinator of Oshimili South Mandate, Adim Dikedi; Rita Oluchukwu Ijeoma; the Coordinator of Delta Youth Coalition (DYC), Chibuzor Agwunwa and Onukwu Anthony.
Their nomination was contained in a letter forwarded to the House by the council Chairman, Hon. Kelvin Ezenyili and read by the Leader, Hon. Michael Okonji.
In another development, the Bill for a bye law 2024 , to establish an Economic team and Advisory committee which was sponsored by Hon. Kelvin Nwabueze passed through its first reading.
Highlight of the plenary was the reading of the citations of the nominees by their ward Leaders and confirmation by their Councillors
