… As Leader Of Legislative Arm Commits To Ensure Speedy Passage Of Bill
Chairman, Oshimili South Local Government Council, Dr. Hon Obi Kelvin Ezenyili, has said that the Bill , titled, estimate of consolidation would positively impact the people of his Local Government Area.
Ezenyili made this known during the presentation of the Council’s 2023 Annual Budget to the Council’s Legislative Arm in Asaba, Delta State.
He said the bill would improve on the environment, security, social stability of the Council.
While appreciating the Lawmakers for their support towards the passage and implementation of the last year’s “Estimate Of Hope”, he prayed the Council’s Legislature to do same to the year’s “Estimate of Consolidation”.
The Council Boss Presented an Estimate which recorded and posted N3, 812,140, 043.05 as recurrent expenditure, while posting the sum of N2, 572,455,000.00 for capital expenditure, with a total projected expenditure at N6, 384, 595, 043.05.
The Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon Michael Okonji, after the budget presentation, expressed his gratitude and assured more robust cum result driven partnership with the executive arm, as he assured both in-depth analysis and speedy passage of the bill.
