The Senior Political Adviser to the Delta State governor, Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the best political party in Nigeria.
Aguariavwodo disclosed this while playing host to the Urhobo National Youth Congress (UNYC) at his office e in Asaba, the state capital.
He said it was evidence with the presence hardship caused by the failure of the leadership of the country to fix Nigeria.
According to him, Nigerians had witnessed good governance during the PDP administration, adding that there was nothing like famine more hardship as faced by the masses in the APC led administration.
The Senior Political Adviser said, within a short time of All Progress Congress (APC), in leadership, life has been miserable with the increase in hunger and crime because of their inability to fix the country.
He said Nigeria made a mistake by bringing APC to power, he however appreciated the choice of Deltans in voting a PDP candidate, who has not only brought good governance but also transforming the state.
Aguariavwodo while speaking on the recent death of 17 army officers in Okuama, Ughelli South Area of the state, he described the act as horrible, barbaric and total alien to the Urhobo culture.
He charged the law enforcement agency to do their job in fishing out the perpetrator so that peace can return to the community.
On his part, the national president of the Congress, Prince Comrade Austine Emuetama commended the Senior Political Adviser for his steadfastness towards the Party and his contributions towards supporting the MORE agenda of the governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
While applauding his pedigree in politics and loyalty and dedication to the Party, Emuetama said the Senior Poland has been nominated for a merit award as an outstanding party man of the year 2024.
He appealed for the consideration of UNYC for any political appointments in the present administration.
Reacting to the demise of the soldiers in the Urhobo community, he said it was so sad and unheard of by their people, adding that they were not known for violence.
He prayed God to condole the families of the fallen soldiers.
