Ogbueshi Chike Ifesiokwu, Chairman of Oshimili South People’s Democratic Party (PDP), yesterday stressed on the need for political evolution as a key strategy in making the party stronger and more acceptable within and outside the local government. The idea of embarking on a political evolution necessitated the establishment and inauguration of various committees during the party’s general meeting.
The committees that were established and inaugurated are:
1. Peace and Reconciliation Committee: Chaired by Evangelist Ebielim Maduemezia, with Chief Edwin Uzor as patron.
2. Oshimili South PDP Women Support Group: – Board of Trustee Chairman: Hon. Mrs. Chinye Hobobo-Uso- Vice Chairperson: Lady Nneka Ora. Chair Lady: Mrs. Ngozi Nwabuonw- Patron: Lady Kanwulia Omoko
3. Oshimili South PDP Male Youth Support Group: Co-chaired by Ogbueshi Obodo and Comrade Felix Eboh, with Ogbueshi Dada Okonji as patron.
4. Oshimili South PDP Christian Support Group: Chaired by Pastor Greatman John Chukwuka, with Hon. Shedrack Rapu as patron.
5. Oshimili South PDP Civil Society Support Group: – Chairman: Barr. Ikechukwu Maduemezie Patron: Hon. Dr. High Chief Kelvin Obi Ezenyili
6. Oshimili South PDP Disciplinary Committee: Chaired by Hon. Izuka Okolo, with Dr. Mordi Ononye as patron.
7. Oshimili South PDP Non-indigene Support Group- Chairman: Chief Chinedu Obodo- Patron: Dr. Darlington Ijeh
8. Oshimili South PDP Traditional Council Support Group: Chairman: Ogbueshi II Barr. Ejike Nwokolo

During the inauguration, Ogbueshi Chike Ifesiokwu tasked the committees with promoting unity, working closely with grassroots members, and holding regular meetings to ensure the party’s success in future elections.
As the saying goes, ‘Failing to plan is planning to fail.’ Ogbueshi Chike Ifesiokwu is planning ahead to secure victory for the party.
