Over the weekend, Coordinator of the Tinubu Torchbearers Initiative (TTBI), Delta State Chapter, Dame Princess Minnie Igbrude, PhD, continued her strategic grassroots sensitization and familiarization tour across the three senatorial districts of Delta State.

Her recent engagement in Warri, Delta South Senatorial District, focused on strengthening civic participation, political awareness, and mobilization as the political season gradually approaches.

Addressing party faithful, community leaders, and stakeholders, Dame Princess Minnie Igbrude emphasized the urgent need for eligible citizens to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), recover misplaced cards, and complete their National Identification Number (NIN) registration. She reiterated that the PVC remains the strongest instrument of democratic participation, noting that without it, citizens cannot exercise their constitutional right to vote or shape the future of leadership.

She further encouraged parents and guardians to ensure that young people who have attained the age of 18 register for their voter cards, describing the vote as their power, voice, and contribution to nation-building.

In addition, she highlighted the importance of NIN registration as a vital means of national identification, confirmation of local government origin, and access to government empowerment programs and social intervention initiatives within the political framework.

Aligning her message with the developmental strides of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, Dame Igbrude noted that the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda has brought visible transformation across the state. She pointed to the massive infrastructural development, improved road networks, and ongoing projects across Delta State as clear evidence of purposeful leadership and commitment to sustainable growth.

According to her, with full mobilization and active voter participation, Deltans will have the opportunity to re-elect His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, to consolidate and expand the good work he has already started. She stressed that continuity in leadership will ensure stability, accelerated development, and greater dividends of democracy for the people.

Her message was clear and strategic: political engagement begins with proper registration, civic consciousness, and collective responsibility.

As the election cycle draws nearer, TTBI remains committed to grassroots mobilization, civic education, and strategic support for leadership that delivers results for Delta State and Nigeria at large.
