In a bid to reshuffle his cabinet, President Bola Tinubu has named seven new members, sack five and swapped 10 others.
The reshuffling led to the merging of ministry as some ministers were moved into another ministries.
Those affected were the Minister of State, Morufu Alausa now turned Minister of Education, this was following the dismissal of Prof. Tahir Mamman.
The former minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, was replaced by Sulaiman-Ibrahim.
The former Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande now serves as the Minister for Youth Development.
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu was appointed as minister of state foreign affairs.
Jumoke Oduwole was assigned to the ministry of industry, trade and investment.
Nentawe Yilwatda was appointed to replace the suspended Betta Edu as the minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction.
Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi was named the new minister of labour & employment.
Idi Mukhtar Maiha was appointed as the minister of livestock development.
Suwaiba Said Ahmad as the minister of state, education.
Former minister of sports under the Muhammadu Buhari administration, Sunday Dare, was appointed as the Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.
Also Yusuf Abdullahi Ata is the minister of state, housing and urban development.
While, Shehu Dikko was appointed as the chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC) which will now take over the duties of the now-scrapped ministry of sports development.
