A Sikorsky SK76 with the registration 5NBQG, conveying oil worker yesterday, ditched into the waters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The aircraft had ditched into the waters near Bonny Finima in the Atlantic Ocean.
Report has it that the accident which occurred along the waterways in Port Harcourt led to the death of three persons.
The airline operated by East Wind Aviation, with eight persons on board, was en route from Port Harcourt Military Base (DNPM) to the Nuimantan oil rig.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Odutayo Oluseyi, five persons were missing.
