Barrister Eugene Uzumnism, Esq., has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, describing his passing as a painful loss not only to his family but to the entire Delta North Senatorial District.

In his condolence message, Barr. Uzumnism commiserated with the people of Delta North, particularly the people and leadership of Oshimili North Local Government Area. He extended his condolences to the Oshimili North Local Government Council led by Hon. Innocent Esewezie, the member representing the constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Barrister Frank Esenwa, as well as all leaders and followers within the local government.

“I commiserate with you all at this very difficult time,” he said, noting that the loss of Senator Nwaoboshi has deepened the sense of grief already being experienced in the area.

Barr. Uzumnism used the occasion to offer heartfelt prayers for Oshimili North Local Government Area, calling on God to bring healing to the community in view of the series of losses it has suffered in recent times. He recalled that not long ago, the local government lost Mr. Okaku, whom he described as a consummate and firm leader who worked tirelessly for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He also remembered the passing of Dr. Andy Ilabor, whom he described as a gentle, reticent and hardworking man, as well as the late Shimite Bello, a daughter of the local government. According to him, the community is yet to recover from these losses when, only a few weeks ago, Chief Ogude of Okpanam, a two-time PDP chairman of Okpanam Town, also passed on.

Describing the spate of deaths as deeply troubling, Barr. Uzumnism called on God to heal Oshimili North and grant comfort to its people.

He further condoled with the Anioma people and the family of the late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, praying that God would grant them the strength to bear the loss in this trying time.

“May God grant repose to the soul of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and all those we have lost, and may He give their families and our communities the fortitude to endure,” he prayed.
