The Senior Political Adviser to the Delta State governor, Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo has advised Deltans to consolidate on the MORE agenda of the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori so as to attract development in the state.
Aguariavwodo gave the advice when he received the representative of Association of Waste Managers
He enjoined Deltans to maintain a cleaner Delta State, so as to attract investors from within and outside the country, adding that cleanliness was the key to healthy living.
He appealed to them to work with the government, relevant agencies and parastals to help the state remains clean and conducive for healthy living.
Earlier, the President of the association, Comrade Lucky Adjekuko, requested for a suitable dump site as palliative so as to reduce littering of dirts in the state, adding that the approved dumpsite would help them monitor the indiscriminate dumping of refuse.
Adjekuko, also appealed for provision of motor trucks for the easy movement of the collected waste to the dumpsite.
The President in his words said they were glad to know that their efforts during the last election was not vein as it had led to the victory of the governor.
He however requested that they be considered for political position in the Oborewvori’s administration.

In another development, Aguariavwodo while playing host to Team Verified, at his office, charged them to organize themselves in different trades so as that they can be empowered when the time comes.
While thanking them for their roles during the election, he urged them to stay united as a group so as to be inclusive in the dividend of democracy.
He intimated them of the actualisation of the governor’s promise to civil servants in the state, adding that he was one who matches his words with his action by ensuring that the palliatives he earlier promised got to them.
He assured them of the state government engagement with INEC so as to create more polling unit in the state.
Earlier, the leader of the group, Hon Frank Onyenuwe requested for political positions for members whom he said worked diligently during the previous election.
He also appealed that more polling units be created in the state.
