The Managing Director/CEO of the Delta Special Economic Zone, Pastor Godwin Akpovie has urged Nigerians to embody love, which is the crux of commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Akpovie, who stated this in his Easter message stressed that it is a period to reflect on the gift of salvation and the power of faith and hope in surmounting earthly challenges.
As he joins Christians in Delta State, Nigeria and around the world to mark this year’s Easter Celebration; the
boardroom expert harped on the need for everyone to imbibe the virtues of forbearance, forgiveness, kindness, humility, love, peace and patience as demonstrated by Jesus Christ in offering himself for crucifixion.
According to him, “As we celebrate this year’s Easter, I encourage everyone to rededicate themselves to living in peace and oneness.The Easter calls for self-introspection and a renewed commitment in enthroning a better society where love, tolerance, forgiveness, peace and unity continue to reign.
While recognising that Easter is about renewed hope and a glorious future,he urged Deltans to continually support the present administration of Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for the accelerated realisation of its MORE agenda which is already affecting the socio-economic development of the State positively.
