The Delta State Commissioner for Housing, Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Sir Engr. Goodnews Goodman Agbi,9 Ph.D., Athauro I, on his ascension as the Ovie of Oyede Kingdom in Isoko North Local Government Area.
Angele described the monarch’s emergence as a significant milestone in the history of the kingdom, expressing confidence that his wealth of professional experience, dedication to community development, and leadership qualities would promote peace, unity, and sustainable development in Oyede Kingdom.
The Commissioner urged the people of Oyede to give the new traditional ruler their full support to enable him to succeed in fostering harmony and advancing the growth of the kingdom.
He also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for strengthening traditional institutions through the presentation of the Staff of Office, noting that the administration’s commitment to partnering with traditional rulers aligns with the MORE Agenda of building peaceful, secure, and prosperous communities across Delta State.
Angele prayed for God to grant the monarch wisdom, good health, and a long, peaceful, and successful reign.
