By Oshimili South Media Team
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Ogbueshi Dada Okolo, has appealed to aspirants within the party to caution their media teams against attacking or condemning fellow contenders while promoting their principals.
He emphasized that the APC remains one united political family, warning that negative campaigns and media attacks among aspirants could create unnecessary division and tension within the party, which may ultimately affect its strength and chances in elections.
Ogbueshi Okolo noted that the party has consistently preached unity and urged all aspirants to ensure their media teams project their candidates positively, without resorting to criticism of others and stressed that healthy competition should not degenerate into actions that could undermine party cohesion.
Ogbueshi Okolo reminded party members that regardless of the number of aspirants contesting, only one candidate will eventually emerge as the party’s flag bearer, adding that such a candidate would require the collective support of others to achieve victory at the polls.
