Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Delta State, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, has predicted that Deltans will continuously celebrate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the benefits they have enjoyed, even after he has served out his tenure.
He said that all Deltans and communities had reasons to celebrate the governor, having touched lives in the nooks and crannies of the state, through massive infrastructural development, appointments and empowerment.
Ogbueshi Okonji, who made the submission, while speaking with journalists on the 63rd birthday anniversary celebration of the governor, also predicted that the governor will be given opportunity to replicate what he did in Delta State, through his election as the vice president in 2023.
According to him, it was by divine provision that Gov Okowa emerged as governor of the state in 2015 and he had demonstrated that he was a man sent by God on a mission to salvage Delta State.
He recalled that from the inception of his administration, the governor, in spite of the economic recession that confronted the nation, managed the state’s resources to satisfy the yearnings of the people, adding that Nigerians were already awaiting Okowa and the PDP to be delivered from the grips of traducers that had held the country by the jugular since 2015.
Specifically, he said the people of Oshimili South local government area had testimonies on the impact of Okowa’s administration in the area and would continue to appreciate him, in addition to supporting his future ambition.
Ogbueshi Okonji prayed God to bless and keep the governor to enable him render more services to the Deltans and Nigerians to the glory of God and for the enhanced welfare of the people
