A community leader and public affairs advocate, Amb. Chinedu Mayor Enujeko, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State and newly appointed Assistant Chief Commissioner of Scout Nigeria, has expressed profound appreciation to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, for approving the construction of the strategic Umuordi–Abuedo Road in Ubulu-Unor, alongside other important road projects across Aniocha South Local Government Area.

In a statement released to the public, Enujeko described the governor’s decision as a major milestone in the ongoing infrastructural transformation of rural communities within the local government area. According to him, the Umuordi–Abuedo road has long been a critical route for residents, farmers, traders, and commuters who rely on the road to connect different quarters and neighbouring communities.

He noted that the approval of the project will significantly improve accessibility, ease the movement of agricultural produce to markets, reduce transportation difficulties faced by residents, and stimulate economic growth in Ubulu-Unor and surrounding communities. He further emphasized that good road infrastructure remains a key driver of development and social integration.

Ambassador Enujeko also commended the Delta State House of Assembly for their remarkable role in ensuring that the swift approval process for the road projects progressed smoothly. He acknowledged the legislature’s commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that directly impact the welfare and development of communities across the state. He stated that the collaboration between the executive arm of government and the state legislature demonstrates a shared vision for sustainable development in Delta State, adding that such synergy is essential for delivering meaningful dividends of democracy to the people.

Enujeko further called on residents of Aniocha South Local Government Area to continue supporting the present administration, noting that the governor’s development agenda is already yielding tangible results in many parts of the state.

He concluded by expressing optimism that the approved projects will not only improve transportation and connectivity but will also contribute to the long-term socio-economic growth and development of Aniocha South Local Government Area and the wider Delta State.
