The First Lady of Delta State, Her Excellency Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has enjoined Deltans to support the governor in actualising his vision.
Dcns Oborevwori gave the advise during the17th Edition of The Mother’s Arise Prayer Conference with the theme “Rehoboth” at the Government House Chapel in Asaba, Delta State.
She urged them to prayerfully support the governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori so as to deliver on his mandate to the people of Delta State.
She said the effect of their prayers will transmit meaningful development, opportunities for all, realistic reforms, enhanced peace and security, which will find expression in the lives of All Deltans, and bring about peace, unity, and above all prosperity to all communities.
She appreciated her predecessor, the pioneer of The Mother’s Arise Prayer Conference, Her Excellency MRS Roli Uduaghan and the immediate past First Lady of the state, her Excellency Deaconess Dame Edith Okowa for her continuous support and love.
She also acknowledged the support of all Deltans towards her family and the government.
The President Of Funke Adejumo Foundation, Bishop Funke Adejumo who took the Sermon, while taking her scripture from the bible book of Psalms chapter 89 verses 27 emphasised on the need of prayer for every leader and first born.
She urged women to stay happy and live their best life while performing their duties as wives and not limit themselves to their husbands nor things around.
She encourages women to be hardworking and not be a liability but make wealth for themselves so they can achieve their personal goals.
The event had the wives of traditional rulers, wives of Police Officers and Women from different Civil Society groups in attendance
