The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) yesterday, congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, describing the celebration as a significant milestone that coincides with the third anniversary of his administration.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Emmanuel Enebeli, FCIMS, MNIPR, and the Secretary, Shedrack Onitsha, FCIMS, MNIPR, the Forum said the occasion offers an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the Oborevwori administration over the past three years.
According to DOPF, the governor has demonstrated commitment to the development of Delta State through the execution of infrastructure projects, governance reforms, and strategic investments in critical sectors of the state’s economy.
The Forum also acknowledged the administration’s emphasis on continuity in governance, noting that its policies and programmes have been geared towards improving the welfare of citizens across the state.
“As stakeholders in the information and media space, members of DOPF have closely observed developments in the state and appreciate the importance of accountable leadership, prudent management of public resources, and sustained engagement with citizens in the pursuit of development objectives,” the statement read.
While commending Governor Oborevwori for his service to Delta State, the Forum encouraged his administration to sustain efforts aimed at promoting inclusive growth, strengthening public institutions, and addressing the evolving needs of the people.
DOPF wished the governor good health, wisdom, and continued strength as he continues to discharge the responsibilities of his office.
Governor Oborevwori marked his 63rd birthday amid widespread goodwill messages from individuals, organizations, and political stakeholders within and outside Delta State, many of whom have praised his leadership and developmental strides since assuming office.
