The newly elected Chairman of Satellite Dealers and Installers Association (DSSDIA) Comr. Ejam Ifeanyi John has assured members of a new dawn in the association
Ejam gave the assurance during the association election which was conducted by members from across the local government areas in the state at Asaba, the state capital.
While appreciating members for their confidence in him, he promise them of a new beginning, adding that is administration would bring about the best in productivity amongst members of the association.
Speaking shortly after the election, he urged members to expect more credibility, faithfulness, accountability in service and the delivery of a transparent leadership in the next four years, adding that he would ensure that members were kept abreast of happenings in the association.
The immediate past Chairman of the association, Mr Austin Onori encouraged the incoming leadership to play and exclusive leadership role without compromise and also carry members from across the 25 Local Government along in their activities.
Onori thanked members for the support given to him and his past executive during their tenure in office and for their sacrifice towards the growth of the association.
While commending them of their peaceful disposition during the election, the Chairman of Artisan Association in the state, Chief Ifeanyi Abanum, charged members to work in unity with the newly executive members in achieving their goals.
The newly elected Chairman scored 10 votes as his opponent, Mr Awele Diachi scored nine votes, while Enebeli Jessica won Charles Idemuta in the election as Secretary, others who emerged unopposed were the financial secretary, Emelda Awujosa; treasurer, Mr Goddy Erhikene; Public Relations Officer, Asha Onori; welfare officer, Mr Oke Kokoricha; Provost, Akpevwe Emoghene and Mr Samuel Sulean as Task force officer.
