The Chairman of the Coalition of Traditional Title Holders in Anioma nations, Amb. Mayor Chinedu Enujeko, has praised the convener of the Organisation for the Advancement of Anioma Culture (OFAAC), Arc. Kester Ifeadi, for his unwavering commitment to promoting and preserving Anioma cultural heritage.

Enujeko gave the commendation during the 20th edition of the OFAAC cultural celebration held in Asaba, describing the event as a remarkable testament to the richness and unity of the Anioma people.

Speaking at the occasion, Enujeko emphasized the spiritual depth and uniqueness of Anioma culture, noting that its beauty is rooted in divine grace. According to him, “The Lord Almighty resides in Anioma, and that is why our culture is filled with love, purity, and a strong sense of community.”

He expressed admiration for Ifeadi’s dedication, stating that despite his reluctance to assume a traditional title, he has been divinely chosen for the responsibility of safeguarding Anioma heritage. Enujeko remarked that the spirit of God and that of the ancestors have guided Ifeadi in championing cultural preservation, which has transformed OFAAC into the largest and most celebrated Anioma cultural event in history.

The coalition chairman also applauded participants at the festival for their vibrant display of tradition, including colourful regalia, captivating dances, rich cuisine, and the cherished traditional beverages symbolic of Anioma heritage. He described the atmosphere as a true reflection of unity and pride among the people.

While commending Ifeadi for his “marvellous efforts,” Enujeko reaffirmed the coalition’s commitment to supporting OFAAC in its mission to uphold and promote Anioma culture for future generations.
